About Matthias Pabst

Already as a teenager, Matthias started taking photos of each and everything as long as the pocket money could pay for films & processing. He was inspired by his dad, a passionate historian and photographer. During highschool and later his economy studies Matthias’ photographic activities slowed down until the breakthrough of digital photography. Quickly, he felt the need to give free rein to the talent that was slumbering inside of him. His favorite themes have always been (and still are) landscapes, cityscapes and portraits. Fascinated by the possibilities of the digital photography he learned to use the established tools and created his own - by now distinctive - style. Of course he also learned a lot about photography in general and not only about the digital part. His pictures are determinded by strong compositions concentrating on the beauty and the aesthetics of what is shown. The sensitive but distinctive post processing which primarly results in a richness in details and vivid color tones is the icing on the cake and makes an eyecatcher out of every photo.

Today, Matthias is working as a self-employed photographer in the domain of advertising and event photography but also still artistic landscape photography.
