Getting the proper exposure on snow and bright clouds is tough sometimes, and it looks like you nailed it in this one - no spectral highlights and details in the shadows.

What a stunning photo. Dramatic, and well converted to Black and White. The "steam like substance" in the lower part of the frame, really adds a great feeling of depth.
